The Chinese gardening Dr. Sun Yat-Sen talked about Chinese gardens. He described each element in them, introducing their importance in the garden. He told the importance of the design, the stones, the water, and the mountains. Each of them brings superstitial advantages to the garden, like the qi. All these elements bring the peace to the garden. He also told the importance to the garden to be in harmony with the nature. I found it pretty boring, I like Chinese garden, but he talked too much about it for me. Also, I am not very interested in Chinese superstitions. However, I find this kind of art very beautiful, and I find this kind of garden very different from all the other gardens all over the world. The shape of the constructions is very beautiful. Also, the rocks have very special shapes, making them unique. One of the particular characteristic of the Chinese garden is also to be in harmony with the nature. Stones in Chinese gardens are particularly important, they represent the mountains. Landscape in Chinese is compose by water and mountain, that is represent in the Chinese garden. To be a good garden, a Chinese garden must have water and stones. The stones are naturally made, the Chinese waited for the water to make holes in the stones in particular ways. That is what make their form so special, Chinese people bring a lot of important to the shape of the stone. In the water, their must be some fishes. The fishes are also a good thing for a Chinese garden. The structure of the garden is very important; it must have some pavilion, some very short bridge...
I think that Chinese garden are very beautiful and bring a lot of poems, but they are a little boring to talk about. We like them when we see them. In fact a lot of Chinese gardens are made to drink tea. Unfortunately, I do not like tea except Moroccan green tea that has a lot of sugar, but this is another thing to talk next time! The talk of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen inspired me about this article.
